Scott Elmshaeuser

Scott Elmshaeuser received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics with minors in Sociology and Statistics from Wake Forest University, from which he graduated cum laude.

Prior to his time at Insight Economics, Mr. Elmshaeuser completed an internship with the Actuarial Department of the North Carolina Department of Insurance. During his time at Wake Forest, Mr. Elmshaeuser conducted economic research for the National College Fed Challenge in which his team was a National Semifinalist.

Mr. Elmshaeuser co-authored the paper Artificial Intelligence-Based Analytics for Impacts of COVID-19 and Online Learning on College Students’ Mental Health which was published in the PLOS One peer-reviewed journal.

In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, reading, camping and kayaking.
